Vehicle Description
The iconic style of the Land Rover Discovery 2 always looks great in Classic Black! And we've enhanced that appeal by doing a complete "black out" treatment to this truck, producing what we've labelled the "Night Edition":
-glossy black lettering and new style black logos
-shiny black powder-coated "Comet" wheels from the HSE trim package
-a sharp, and indestructible, Raptor urethane roof treatment
-distinctive "D2" hood decal
-new 3M UV blocking window tint
But good looks is just part of this truck's appeal. Significantly, it is an accident-free, rust free Southern truck that we have carefully vetted (something we have a bit of experience doing, having reconditioned and resold over 175 D2s since 2015).
We have thoroughly inspected and tested the truck to insure its reliability:
-the engine was shop tested for compression, oil pressure, and oil tightness
-verified head gaskets have been properly and necessarily updated
-major service completed with correct oils and filters
-major and critically important cooling system upgrade to Inline Thermostat
-new cooling hoses and tank
-cooling system flushed, sealed with Moroso ceramic, refilled w Dexcool
-ABS modification to eliminate "3 Amigos"
Additional important exterior upgrades include:
-new Nexen Roadian AT Pro tires in +1.5" size
-30mm Terrafirma wheel spacers
-new brakes
-new steel front bumper
-auxiliary LED driving lamps with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs)
-new steel rear bumper with shackles
-rear Terrafirma taillight protectors
-new Atlantic British ladder
-new windshield surround plastic and wipers

-a 9" wireless Boss touchscreen w Apple Carplay and backup camera
-reconditioned driver seat cover
